Excellent hotel. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. From reception, restaurant to housekeeping all the staff were friendly and welcoming and they all seemed happy to be at work. It made our stay absolutely lovely. Breakfast was also delicious, I can highly recommend it
Couldn't fault the service we had. Wonderful lady on reception helped on a couple of issues I had. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant next door was the same, all staff where brilliant & worked their socks off. A tip the the management, get maybe just one more member of staff at the front of house. I'm sure it would run a lot smoother. It was a Sunday morning (probably the busiest breakfast) bless the lady running around to serve us all. She done an excellent job though & the breakfast was spot on.
The staff here literally can't do enough for you and with such genuine and sincere care. I was unable to leave my room but needed to put in a food order for the restaurant. The receptionist took my order to the kitchen and offered to knock on our door if it was ready prior to the arranged time. We had left a jumper in a taxi that was handed in and the young woman was also so pleased when she managed to return it to us. The cleaners were warm and friendly also and all staff were only too happy to help.
Basic but clean, with friendly staff. Good value for money. They were very busy at breakfast, but tried to help everyone (probably need more staff). I especially want to mention Oscar who worked hard in the kitchen with a big smile despite it being non-stop, and made great poached eggs.
Room was ok, but when we first arrived the bathroom smelled like it had been cleaned with a dirty mop so we had to clean it again and spray air fresheners. I didn't get a good sleep, room was very hot even with no heating on and the noise from the road was constant even with the window closed tight. Food not on a par with other premier inns that we have stayed in. Most of the male staff good but some of the women seemed like they couldn't be bothered,and only wanted to chat amongst themselves. Don't think we would stay here again which is a shame as it is near to everything that we needed to be near.
